Nothing against the product Xango, that contains Mangosteen juice, but it has alot of other fruit juices added, so you don’t know how much mangosteen is in It. I found a product called Mangosteen 100 that has 100% pure Mangosteen with no additives. It has puree of the the rind and the inner white fleshy part, so before you drink it, you gotta shake it up every time.

Anyway, I read the back label and it said to only drink one fluid once on an empty stomach 1-3 times daily. I drink it 2-3 times daily and always on an empty stomach. I’ve heard it’s good with chronic back pain which I have because of a herniated disc in my lower back, but the main reason I’m taking it is because I read it takes eliminates eczema and psoriasis, one or both of which I have on my entire face. I’ve read testimonials that their skin condition was cleared up completely after only 5 days and I’m on my 6th day and haven’t noticed a difference.
Am I supposed to be applying it to my face topically? Thanks.

From the bit of research I have done, it looks like Mangosteen is full of antioxidants which help the body to absorb other vitamins which in turn help to boost the immune system. If this is the case, Mangosteen may not be necessary. You can get antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from dark leafy greens and other veggies….and perhaps a good liquid multi-vitamin too (if in liquid form, the body can absorb better)
About the psoriasis, well, my fiance has the same condition and there is only one thing you can do OTC and that is up keep. Gently exfoliate 3-4 times a week and then apply Cetaphil every morning and Aquifer every night before bed. You can find these products at most drug stores.
Hope that helps.
sorry, idk about mangosteen juice but i got interested because i don’t think they sell it where i am. i’ve heard that the mangosteen peels are good for eczema, like soak them in water and then use the water to bathe. but idk if you’ve seen this, they actually have mangosteen soap. i got them from thailand, and they’re really quite good. kinda stings if your eczema is the open wound kind, but after a few times it’ll be ok.
but anyway, the key thing is antioxidant. i’m not sure about mangosteen juice, since i’ve never seen that before, but if the peels work, the juice itself should be good. juices like promegranate and cranberry are very good. why eczema flares is because the body produces more free radicals than the normal skin. by taking a lot of antioxidant helps to get rid of free radicals.
multivitamins contain antioxidant too. but you got to drink lots of water. it’s not that it’s “heaty”, as a lot of people thinks. it’s because of the reaction between the antioxidant and free radicals; it’s like exothermic - gives out heat. that’s the best i can describe. ;p
hope all these helps, i’ve tried them myself.
I’m a Xango geek, got involved a few months ago, I didnt know about its effects on eczema, until I noticed that both my daughters eczema had cleared up. Xango says they have a special process to use the entire fruit, perhaps your product isnt doing the same, my girls only drink 1 oz a day. After a month and a half all they have are some slight pink where the eczema was.
