Jackfruit comes in many different ripe textures - this is one of the main purposes of jackfruit breeding. There are firm-flesh cultivars (some are even crisp/crunchy), as well as medium and soft fleshed.

Re: Jackfruit — It can grow out on branches, some types do. I’ve seen them. Generally though, it has a cauliflorous fruiting habit, which means flowers & fruit from the trunk and large branches. Many trees in the fig (moraceae) family do this, and it is also common in tropical members of the myrtaceae family. This fruiting habit is not really dependent on the size of the fruit. There are plenty of small-fruiting cauliflorous trees, too.

Naw, jackfruit can be just as good. But you have to have a good quality jackfruit. Many on the market are picked to early, and so they taste bland. If you have an adequately ripened ‘gold nugget’ or ‘cheena’ jackfruit it will be amazing…

Durian is the best - jackfruit is rather bland and mangosteen is sweet and creamy.

All you have to do is plug your nose, put a slice in, start to chew then uplug your nose…. you will get the taste once you release your nostrils.. trust me.
ITS SO WORTH IT!!

Does anyone know if it’s true that David Wolfe plagiarised ‘Raw-Eating’ by A.T. Hovanessian? This was brought up on some forum. Apparently he’s also managed to get a cult-like following by way of his “salesman-liness” and his “super-foods”?

Im living in Thailand for a year. et them dirt cheap and straight from the marketplace (all three) + just-taken from trees coconut water. Yum. Never felt better. Even though I drink a lot here (hey it’s a party island). PS WHEN exactly should I dump dollars? And buy what currency instead?

I am a economy/financial markets/monetary system maniac. I studied it for months everyday 6 hours, reading the best books, listening to the best independend experts, listening to seminars, analyzing (historical) charts, studying the monetary system history back to 2000 b.C. Buy silver, dumb your dollars, buy something real that has value. The whole financial system is on the verge of total collapse, listen to gerald celente on youtube, Copy and paste this into every video, help others!
